Game and 50 kiss and make up

We I guess Game is tired of the beef! I support that...

For 50, I’m just gonna apologize to him, just as a man. It has nothing to do with music, or beef, or nothing like that. It ain’t about being the bigger man. He can take it and say, ‘Game is apologizing,’ ‘Game’s a sucka, he’s apologizing.’ I’m apologizing for me to him, to (Dr.) Dre, to Jimmy Iovine, to Eminem, to all the fans.Because if you think about what Interscope was when we were gellin’, man we were it. We were an unstoppable force.”

2009-07-06 - Lauren LondonYou've heard the rumors for months. Actress Lauren London is pregnant. However, where are the photos? The proof?

Well, Lauren confirmed rumors of her pregnancy over the 4th of July weekend, when she popped up at Diddy's All-White Party in Beverly Hills showing off her baby bump.

So, it's official, she's definitely pregnant. Who is the daddy though? Rumors indicate Lil Wayne as the father, but nothing has been confirmed by either camp.

Sasha Fierce clothing line (you support that?)

Posted by panicbeats on , under , , | comments (0)

Beyonce - Concert in Barcelona in 2007Image via Wikipedia

Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, have noticed something: The words "House of Deréon" don't mean anything to potential customers. (It sounds made-up and insignificant, but according to Wikipedia, the name Deréon comes from Beyoncé's grandmother Agnèz Deréon, who worked as a seamstress.) "Sasha Fierce," however, resonates with young (possibly misguided) girls who might buy Beyoncé and Tina's clothes. So they're launching a new line for back-to-school called Sasha Fierce, inspired by Beyoncé's stage presence. Tina describes the collection as a reinterpretation of Beyoncé's Thierry Mugler costumes.

However, conceptually the collection differs greatly from Sasha Fierce's stage costumes in that the clothes are "subdued" to draw attention to the accessories. They include:
... a one-shoulder dress, black bodysuit, fake leather jacket with oversize collar, leggings, and destructed jeans with mesh and lace details lining the ripped material.

Emphasis ours, because nothing's sure to wow an eleventh-grader's love interests — and teachers — like BeyoncĂ©'s signature black bodysuit, which is the only outfit that can take a girl from second period to triathlon practice to a bank robbery. Tina describes the accessories as "really over-the-top." They include the usual shades, chains, and shoes, all as oversize, embellished, and metallic as possible. It all sounds perfect, except the merchandise list lacks two key elements: the metal glove and the money fan.

Iran Basij militia wants Mousavi's head to roll!!!

Posted by panicbeats on , under | comments (0)

Well looks like Ahmadinejad's goons are going in after Mousavi

Iran's opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi today became the target of the notorious Basij militia as it called for him to be prosecuted for his role in the greatest political unrest in Iran since the Islamic revolution.

In a letter to the country's chief prosecutor, the Basij accuse Mousavi of involvement in nine offences against the state, including "disturbing the nation's security". That charge carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

The letter came as the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, cancelled a planned trip to Libya without explanation. The last-minute cancellation is being seen as a sign of the continuing volatility in Iran as the authorities struggle with the fallout from last month's disputed election, in which Ahmadinejad was declared the winner.

One of the other candidates, Mehdi Karroubi, a reformist cleric, vowed to continue his fight to annul the election despite the endorsement of the poll by the powerful guardian council after a partial recount of the vote.

"I don't consider this government legitimate," Karroubi said on his website.

It was later reported that the daily Etemad-e-Melli, a newspaper allied to him, had been closed down.

In his statement Karroubi also demanded the release of "thousands" of people arrested during the unrest.

Iran's police chief, Brigadier General Ismail Ahmadi-Moghaddam, said 1,032 people had been arrested since the 12 June election, but he claimed that most had since been released.

"Those who are still in detention were referred to the public and revolutionary courts in Tehran," Fars News Agency quoted him as saying, according to Reuters.

Ahmadi-Moghaddam said 20 "rioters" had been killed during the unrest and more than 500 police had been injured.

He also asked Interpol to arrest Arash Hejazi, the doctor who was filmed coming to the aid of Neda Soltan after she was shot in the widely seen video of her death.

Hejazi fled to London after the incident and suggested that a Basij militiaman on a motorbike was responsible for her killing.

"Her killing was a planned scenario and had no relation with the riots in Tehran," Ahmadi-Moghaddam said.

ITS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!

The courts finds that “Al Franken received the highest number of votes legally cast and is entitled under Minn. Stat. § 204C.40 (2008) to receive the certificate of election as United States Senator from the State of Minnesota.” This means that when Franken is ultimately seated, the Democrats will have 60 seats and be able to beat any Republican foes.

The Minnesota Supreme Court has handed down its much-expected ruling in the heavily-litigated Minnesota Senate race from 2008 -- and it's a unanimous one -- deciding against Republican former Sen. Norm Coleman's appeal of his defeat in the election trial and affirming the lower court's verdict that Democratic comedian Al Franken is the legitimate winner of the race.

The courts finds that "Al Franken received the highest number of votes legally cast and is entitled under Minn. Stat. § 204C.40 (2008) to receive the certificate of election as United States Senator from the State of Minnesota." This means that when Franken is ultimately seated, the Democrats will have 60 seats and be able to beat any Republican filibuster if they stay completely united (though good luck with that, obviously.)

It's been seven and a half months since Election Day, and five and a half months since the seat went vacant after Coleman's term expired -- but the state's process of recounts and litigation is now over, barring the unlikely event of a higher authority stepping in and forcing them to do more. Franken has won by 312 votes, out of roughly 2.9 million -- a difference of 0.011%.

The big question now is what comes next. Will Coleman concede, or will he take another path -- as national GOP leaders like Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) have urged -- and take this to federal courts, where he might try to get an injunction against Franken receiving a certificate of election? And if Franken does get his certificate, will the Senate GOP attempt to filibuster its acceptance?

Coleman's core issue during the litigation has been that more rejected absentee ballot envelopes that his campaign has identified should have been counted, and that the 14th Amendment requires the state to adopt a less strict standard for admitting these votes in. The rationale here is that various counties were lax in enforcing certain legal requirement, and therefore deficiencies in other ballots must be excused.

His campaign picked out about 4,400 out of 11,000 total outstanding ballots -- and has made the interesting claim that they don't know what's in these envelopes. It's very clear to any rational observer that both sides engaged in cherry-picking in selecting rejected ballots. And their claim was always a tough legal road to take.

The other possibility that they've floated throughout this process at various times is that it's impossible to truly know who won this election, and therefore the result should be thrown out ("set aside," in their words).

We'll see whether the national GOP goes to the mat any more than they already have for any or all of these claims, and how much longer this can get held up. Believe it or not, this is not actually yet the longest ongoing dispute over a Senate election since direct voting was brought in -- that "honor" belongs to the 1974 New Hampshire Senate race, which left the seat vacant through August 1975, when a temporary appointment was made, and then had a do-over election in September 1975.

DREAM AND CHRISTINA MILIAN ON VIBE COVER

Posted by panicbeats on , under , | comments (0)

Smh we all seen this story before. In a few months there will be beef and shame. Why throw your relationship in people's face. It only motivates the haters to mess up your situation. Jayz left a good example on how to deal women in the industry. Always keep one foot outside the circle!!!

Vibe, one of the nation’s leading popular music magazines, is closing immediately, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Word leaked to music and media news Web sites early this afternoon, and the spokeswoman, Tracy Nguyen, said the Vibe staff would be formally notified in a meeting at 2 p.m. She said she did not know how many people would be laid off as a result of the closure.

Vibe’s closure leaves just one large-circulation magazine, The Source, focusing on hip-hop and R&B. The Source has had its own troubles, going through a bankruptcy and emerging under new ownership last year.
